I began reading the CVOICE book from CiscoPress and decided to switch gears and watch some videos on CCNP Voice. It's been a struggle trying to learn about voice since I don't have any practical experience. But I think this could be an advantage (here's to looking at the glass half full?), I think coming in as a blank slate will force me to learn the material in a way where there's no bias or misconceptions from real world deployments. Of course, this is just wishful thinking but thinking positive is better than negative. :)
On to more videos on CUCM.

New Year, New Goal... Voice.
After some consideration, I've decided to pursue another CCIE, this time in Voice. I've realized that in order to be successful in obtaining an IE, it's critical that you really are genuinely interested in the topic you're pursuing, kind of seems obvious right?
I've decided to set some goals. I'm going to read through the CVOICE book as a starting point, study for the Written, and hopefully pass before the end of February.
I've already ordered videos from INE to hopefully jump start my pursuit. And I'll be blogging regulary on what I'm learning and where I'm at.
